i-unit, together with the Magdeburg Industrial Club, presented an economic policy dialogue with the Deputy Chairman of the Free Democrats, Wolfgang Kubicki. More than 100 guests attended the event at the Institute for Paints and Coatings in Magdeburg.
Following his lecture titled “Priority for the Social Market Economy”, Kubicki discussed with Burkhard Rieck, Managing Partner of the Invitel Group, Sven Schmidtmann, Managing Director of i-unit, and Astrid Stolze, Vice Chairwoman of the Magdeburg Industrial Club. Wolfgang Borchert built on Kubicki’s insightful keynote and moderated a lively and engaging discussion on topics such as demographic change, the shortage of skilled workers, reducing bureaucracy, and financial policy.

“No Sunday speeches, no political clichés, but a lively exchange at eye level on economic policy issues with entrepreneurs from the region – that was our goal and that’s exactly how the evening turned out. Who knows: maybe this will soon develop into a series.”
