Around 400 guests from the worlds of politics, business, culture, and society recently attended this year’s Leibniz Ring Hannover award ceremony at the Hannover CongressCentrum.
The Leibniz Ring Hannover honors individuals or institutions that have attracted attention through outstanding achievements or made a special mark through their life’s work.
This year, the special prize went to singer Peter Maffay for his extraordinary social commitment. Since 2000, he has been supporting disadvantaged children and young people with his Tabaluga Children’s Foundation. The two i-unit managing directors, Sven Schmidtmann and Andreas Tieftrunk, also attended the award ceremony, congratulated Peter Maffay on behalf of the entire i-unit team, and above all thanked him for his very special and outstanding commitment.
