In July 2020, i-capital successfully completed the management buy-in project of Dr. Markus Geyer (Dr. Geyer Holding GmbH). The project involved the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Krüger Dannheim GmbH & Co. KG (“KD”) and MAW GmbH (“MAW”) from Mr. Jens Dannheim.
i-capital advised Dr. Geyer throughout the entire process. Particularly noteworthy was the complete restructuring of the transaction in response to the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on both companies. Supported by both parties, i-capital developed a pragmatic solution that was also viable for the financing banks during these challenging times.
KD and MAW are active in contract manufacturing and fixture construction in mechanical engineering. Their customer base consists primarily of automotive manufacturers (welding fixtures for production lines, especially for battery production). The companies, located in Edemissen and Lehrte, benefit from many years of experience as well as their favorable location near Hanover.
