In May 2021, i-capital successfully completed the sale and partial contribution of the subsidiaries of HPS Holding GmbH to Global Leisure Group AB (GASPI).
HPS Holding GmbH, based in Laakirchen, Austria, is the leading partner for customized indoor play facilities and trampoline parks in German-speaking countries. With its subsidiaries Playlife-System GmbH, HPS Play Company GmbH, Playlife s.r.o., and ThemeWorks s.r.o., it offers the entire spectrum of planning and design, business plans, installation, service, and maintenance. Projects range from small installations in family hotels to large-scale family entertainment centers with their own themes.
Global Leisure Group AB, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, has been a portfolio company of Accent Equity since early 2020. Accent Equity pursues a clear buy-and-build strategy aimed at creating and developing a global player in premium turnkey leisure and play concepts. The transaction provided the group with an excellent entry into the attractive Central European market. With this step, Global Leisure Group has grown to a total of eleven brands across the segments Leisure, Play, Adventure, Sport, Edutainment, Water Splash, Snow Play, and Retail Play, with locations in Sweden, England, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and the United Arab Emirates.
