After a three-year hiatus, the time had finally come again: the i-unit Cup returned at the beginning of the year, offering spectators an exciting tournament and talented young athletes a great opportunity to compete against each other.
The i-unit Cup as a highlight for youth soccer
The i-unit Cup is an annual soccer tournament for B-youth teams and is a sporting highlight every year. The 17th edition of the i-unit Cup took place this year in the Franzsches-Feld-Halle in Braunschweig and attracted around 800 spectators from various regions.
Eight B-youth teams from the national, regional, and state leagues competed against each other and fought for the coveted trophy. In the end, the team from Hanover prevailed and thus defended their title once again.
The i-unit group’s commitment to sport is a matter close to its heart
As soccer fans, we have been committed to promoting youth sports for many years and are delighted that, as sponsors of this event, we can promote team spirit in team sports as well as youth sports in the region. We also like to use the i-unit Cup as a sporting start to the year and take the opportunity to exchange ideas in a family atmosphere.
We would like to express our special thanks to BSC Acosta for the fantastic organization of the tournament and to the spectators who made their way to Braunschweig to cheer on the young talents.
